The “F” family

So here is another  shoot I did up Oak Glen.  That place has SOOOO much to offer and makes for some gorgeous backdrops for photography, and I love that it’s only about 15 minutes up from my house. Since I do family pictures pretty rarely, I have to apologize that the two most recent posts were done in the same place. I’ll have to start hunting around for some good outdoor locations to shoot because I have had a lot of requests to do families (especially during the holidays) and I don’t want to let you all down by saying no!

These guys have been best friends with us for as long as we can remember. My husband and Cory grew up next door to each other so they hung out all the time as kids. We really love them and I had so much fun doing this shoot (although both my kids had to tag along. haha, that was interesting).  But they are beautiful inside and out. Enjoy!

Lovely family. I was looking through the photos of the newborns and young children on the Poppy Tree Photography site, and was impressed with the intense spirit which seemed to be caught in each young child’s eyes. I wondered if Poppy Tree also photographed family’s and if that spirit would be captured in family shots. I found this, the “E” family, and while the background music, “All is Love, All is Love, L.O.V.E., …. Love, Love, Love” played, I could see that that is what is captured in these photos, love of life, love and appreciation for each individual, and especially Love and amazing bond of Family. Thank you for capturing and sharing this Love on film!
